EP 47 | Corporate Exit Planning Series Day 4 - Are You Managing Your Time or Is It Managing You? Strategies to Learn to Handle Your Time Efficiently as you Pivot out of Your Job

When you work in a traditional job setting, most often the way you spend your time is determined by your employer. When you pivot out of your job, no one is setting expectations or requiring you to show up at specific times. It’s certainly a shock to your system!

 

As part of the journey to building your roadmap, it’s ideal to learn to manage your time while working full time and managing the distractions that can pop up. It’s time to dive into managing your most precious resource!

 

It's no coincidence that on the day we are talking about time management, we had a small accident happen in our home.

 

No one prepares you for the change that happens when you leave the routine and expectations of a corporate job. 

 

All of a sudden the structure you were used to is no longer present and you find yourself navigating what the true priorities and focus needs to be. 

 

My philosophy is to master how to handle your time NOW while you’re working full time so that once you escape, you have a great handle on it.
